HOUSTON—A pastor is calling on the young people of Houston to end street violence.

Bishop James Dixon said he is fed up with burying so many children, who are often victims of drug-related crimes.

In fact, he’s holding a funeral for two more crime victims this weekend.

“My cry to this generation is, please understand that drugs, gang violence, gang life, crime is all a dead end,” he said.

Dixon has been a long-time advocate of non-violence, but says crime is particularly bad now.
