HOUSTON – If you haven’t paid your water bill, be warned: the City of Houston is coming after delinquent customers and cutting off service.

Officials say about 22,000 customers are more than 200 days past due on their bills.

Those bills add up to $13 million.

The city says a lot of those people just don’t bother paying their bill until their service is about to be disconnected.

Now, they could wake up without water.
