HOUSTON—The Harris County Sheriff’s office says no device was located after deputies responded a reported bomb threat Thursday at Atascocita High School.
School officials said a 911 call was made from campus about a bomb threat at approximately 9 a.m. The caller identified the bomber as another student by name.
After launching an investigation, police and school administrators determined the call was a prank.
The building was searched as a precaution, but there was no evidence of any threat.
The school’s classes began at 9:15 a.m., and a normal school day was held, said Principal Bill Daniel in a letter sent to parents.
