GALVESTON COUNTY—Candidates and voters are getting a few weeks to recover from the primaries before the push for November’s general election begins.
While some races were decided by the primaries because of a lack of opposition in November, other local races are expected to go heavily in favor of the Republican candidates — but not all.
Three races in particular promise to be hotly contested.
