LEAGUE CITY — A Friendswood teenager remained jailed Sunday amid accusations he struck an officer with a car after police responded to a complaint of a loud house party.

Bond for Ronald Chaz Degrate, 19, was set at $60,000 on a felony charge of aggravated assault of a public servant, stemming from a 1:14 a.m. Saturday incident in the 2000 block of Port Bridge Lane, League City police officer Reagan Pena said.

Officer Owen McIntyre was in the street with his flashlight, attempting to stop a 1995 tan Buick that was approaching him from several houses away.
