TEXAS CITY — Four Texas City High School athletes, including members of the Stingarees football team, face disciplinary action following a locker room attack on two fellow students that happened last week, school district officials said.
Initially three students were suspended from school Monday for their part in the incident a district spokeswoman said was horseplay that got out of hand.
Two boys were in one of the high school locker rooms after 5 p.m. April 4 when some horseplay with four other students got out of hand, Texas City school district spokeswoman Melissa Tortorici said. Some of the attackers pulled out belts and hit the boys.
