HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- Crews have put out a fire that erupted Tuesday morning from a natural gas line in north Harris County.

Flames shot up after construction crews accidentally hit the line on Aldine Mail Route near Chrisman.

Five mobile homes in the area were evacuated.

CenterPoint has turned off the gas to make repairs.

They expected to have it flowing again by 5 p.m.
