HOUSTON -- Community members hit the streets Sunday to help find a suspected serial rapist who police said has assaulted at least three women in southeast Houston.

Community leaders met on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Yellowstone Boulevard to hand out flyers with the hope that someone will come forward with information.

The suspect is described as a black male in his late 20s, about 6 feet tall, with a medium build and a medium complexion.

In each incident, the suspect was driving a white, newer model four-door vehicle with light tint on the windows and a dark interior.

All the victims were taken to vacant houses and raped, police said. During Sunday’s neighborhood sweep, the message was very clear.

“If you think the no snitch policy will keep you safe in our community, we say hell no,” community activist Quanell X said. “Your days are numbered. We’re looking for you, and we advise you turn yourself in if you have an inch of godly conscience left in you.”
