HOUSTON -- Funeral services were held Saturday for a Houston fire inspector, who was shot and killed nearly two weeks ago.

Friends, family and members of the Houston Fire Department were on hand to pay their respects to 55-year-old David Stoneham at Fallbrook Church.

Police said Stoneham was off duty when he was gunned down in his driveway by 45-year-old Alain Bell.

Bell is the stepfather of Stoneham’s 17-year-old daughter, and she was there when her father was killed.

Bell faces capital murder charges.
