HOUSTON – An Aldine ISD bus driver is being investigated for digging through neighborhood trash while on the clock.

Jennifer Mattocks realized what was going on when the yellow school bus was blocking her driveway.

“The bus driver is picking up a box at that time and emptying out my trash,” said Mattocks. “Then she gets the box, looks at me and goes inside the bus.”

Mattocks was left with piles of garbage dumped in her yard and a lot of questions.

So, she found the woman digging a few doors down and confronted her with a cell phone camera rolling.

“You pick up my trash before, I’ve seen you a couple times,” said Mattocks to the woman.

“Well, I’m gonna move,” said the driver. “I’m looking for some boxes.”

“Well, last time it wasn’t boxes it was boards,” Mattocks replied.

With a strict HOA, the Mattocks family is worried that they could end up getting in trouble with the trash left behind.

“They start with letters and then we’ll get fines,” said Mattocks. “It’s not exactly a fine I want to pay.”

In the end, Mattocks decided her confrontation with the driver didn’t go so well.

“I just get only one box,” the driver explained.

“There was trash in that one box that the trash man won’t pick up,” Mattocks told her.

Mattocks has now taken her complaint to the district.

She doesn’t want the driver to get fired. Mattocks just wants her to stop digging through trash on the clock.
