HARRIS COUNTY, Texas -- A family in the Sheldon subdivision of Kings Lake Forest was looking for its stolen electronics and a puppy snatched on Tuesday afternoon.

It happened at about 3 p.m. in the 12300 block of Haroldson Forest Drive.

The Garcia's were at work when burglars broke down the back fence and burst through the door.

They stole televisions, expensive tennis shoes and a 2-month-old pit bull named Beauty.

"I'm out there busting a sweat for my paycheck," said Jesus Garcia. "For someone to come up in here and take my stuff, that's not a good feeling at all."

Garcia's wife Raquel Cardona got the puppy from a friend.

"She's an expensive dog," Cardona said. "She was a gift to me, but to buy them is expensive. So now I don't have anything, and I don't have my dog. I just want the dog back."

A neighbor didn't have a very good description of the burglars but did see a gray car and a white car leaving the house on Tuesday.

The family filed a report with the Harris County Sheriff's Office.
