FORT BEND COUNTY, Texas -- Part of the Grand Parkway frontage road is closed after buckling concrete became an issue for some drivers late Wednesday, officials said.
One lane of the northbound frontage road is blocked at FM 1464 until further notice.
In a tweet, the sheriff’s office said several vehicles experienced flats and damage prior to the road closure.
The Fort Bend County Toll Road Authority blocked off the damaged area and will advise on when the roadway will reopen.
Views from Air 11 showed no delays in the area due to light traffic.
