HOUSTON -- A Brazoria County woman is the first Triumph cruise passenger to file suit against Carnival.
Court documents say Cassie Terry feared she'd get sick or die because of the raw sewage and spoiled food onboard the ship.
Terry described her last days on the ship as living in a "floating toilet."
The ship lost primary power after an engine-room fire on Sunday.
Terry's attorney wouldn't say how much money she's suing for.
Carnival is offering passengers a full refund, a free cruise, and $500 cash.
