SUGAR LAND, Texas – Suspected burglars were caught quickly Monday afternoon in Sugar Land thanks to alert neighbors.
One of the suspects is accused of kicking in a door and racing into a home on Charleston Street, grabbing anything he could. The suspect was able to get his hands on a TV and left.
An alarm triggered and notified police as well a neighbor, who called 911.
With a license plate and description of the vehicle, Sugar Land police put the information out and it worked. Three suspects were arrested and the homeowner’s television was recovered.
The three male suspects were taken into custody after Stafford police pulled them over on Murphy Road. The suspects still had the stolen TV with them in the car.
