HOUSTON -- Houston, we have a problem. NASA employees have been furloughed and need an activity.

The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Houston proudly invites any NASA employee to enjoy a free screening of Gravity, starring Sandra Bullock and George Clooney.

“The Alamo Drafthouse Cinema Houston is delighted to host our hardworking NASA employees currently at home due to the government shutdown. Anyone who experienced Gravity this past weekend on the big screen no doubt has a heightened appreciation for the brave men and women who put their life on the line every time they take flight on a mission into space,” said Neil Billingsley-Michaelsen, CEO of Triple Tap Ventures LLC, owner and operator of the Houston area Alamo Drafthouse Cinema theaters. “We are proud to invite NASA employees into our Space City theaters at Mason Park in Katy and the new Vintage Park location in northwest Houston to enjoy the heart-pounding cinematic experience that GRAVITY provides.”

Tickets are available at the lobby box office with presentation of a NASA employee ID, one ticket per employee.

NASA employees are encouraged to arrive early to get their tickets and enjoy the custom pre-show created to compliment screenings of Gravity.
