HOUSTON -- Authorities said two men were arrested on Tuesday for breaking into cars parked outside of a Houston LA Fitness.
Harris County Precinct 4 said the suspects broke into multiple vehicles and stole items from cars parked in the LA Fitness lot along the 19500 block of Interstate 45.
Officials said the suspects then went across the street to the Target store. One suspect, Timothy Williams, attempted to use a stolen credit card, according to Precinct 4 authorities. The card did not work, and when Williams was leaving the store, he was taken into custody by awaiting deputies.
Authorities said the second suspect, Fred Thompson, was waiting in a nearby vehicle in the Target parking lot and was also taken into custody.
Williams, 36, is charged with felony burglary of a motor vehicle and felony credit card abuse.
Thompson, 26, is charged with felony burglary of a motor vehicle.
