Powerball fever is taking place across the country as Wednesday night, someone has the chance to walk away with the $400 million jackpot.

This is the first jackpot of 2014 large enough to get everyone excited, and Lottery officials say Wednesday’s drawing is the 4th largest Powerball payout on record, and the 6th largest in the world.

Many stores expect heavy foot traffic all day as people are looking to win the big prize

In the last two years, there has been only one jackpot winner and that winner took home a $30 million prize.

The actual cash payout is about $228 million and chances of winning are about 1 in 175 million.
