Newtown: How you can help victims, residents

NEW YORK -- Whenever a community like Newtown, Conn., is hit by tragedy, Americans immediately pitch in to try and help.

The first visible example of that in Newtown was a flood of stuffed animals. Other contributions are paying for funerals, helping with counseling, and creating scholarships in the victims' memory.
