AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A convicted gang member on the Texas 10 Most Wanted Fugitives list has been caught in Louisiana.

The Texas Department of Public Safety on Tuesday announced a reward of up to $10,000 for information leading to 35-year-old Cory James Fisher of Abilene. DPS says hours later Fisher was captured in Ville Platte (vil-PLAT'), Louisiana.

Investigators in January issued a warrant for Fisher for parole violations related to a drug conviction. Records show Fisher also has convictions for robbery, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, evading arrest and tampering with evidence.

Fisher faces return to Texas.

Further details on his capture weren't immediately available.
