AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — A San Marcos man has been charged with intoxication manslaughter for the November deaths of two men killed in Travis County when their van was struck by his pickup and then exploded.
Austin police say tests on blood samples from 24-year-old William Lawrence after the Nov. 18 collision show the presence of the powerful hallucinogen PCP.
The Austin American-Statesman says (http://bit.ly/1oSGBw0 ) an affidavit shows Lawrence denies he was drinking and said he probably fell asleep at the wheel.
Two men from La Grange, 79-year-old Bobby Robert and 84-year-old Billy Robert, were killed.
