HOUSTON (AP) — An 18-year-old Houston man sought following a fatal shooting during a fight at an apartment complex has surrendered.
Houston police on Monday announced Louis Anthony IV has been charged with murder in last Wednesday's death of 20-year-old Demarcus Harrison. The suspect surrendered Friday and was booked Sunday.
His father, 38-year-old Louis Anthony III, has been accused of driving through a crowd of onlookers as police investigated the shooting involving several men. Television crews were videotaping as the car went through the crowd. No one was injured.
The father was charged with two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Louis Anthony IV remained in jail Monday on $50,000 bond. His father was being held on $30,000 bond.
Messages left for attorneys representing the men were not immediately returned.
