TEMPLE, Texas (AP) — About $180,000 has turned up missing from the bank accounts of a Central Texas arts and theater performing group.
The Temple Daily Telegram (http://bit.ly/1izzHuc ) reported Tuesday that nobody has been charged in the theft from the Temple Civic Theatre.
Cpl. Christopher Wilcox says an audit will be done along with the police investigation.
Jody Donaldson, who's president of the group's board of governors for 2013 and 2014, says the funds were discovered missing March 3. The theft was reported to police on March 13.
Donaldson says the money apparently was taken over an 18-month period.
