FREMONT, Ohio (AP) — A man has been held without bond in a weekend shooting at a northern Ohio bar that left three men dead, including an off-duty officer.
Fremont police say they took 33-year-old Igmidio Mista into custody Monday morning shortly after issuing an arrest warrant for him. The warrant charges him with three counts of murder.
Police say they found Mista at a Fremont home and arrested him without incident. A judge later ordered him held without bond.
A message seeking comment was left with Mista's attorney.
The shooting early Sunday at the Last Call Bar in Fremont also killed a relative of the officer and a bartender.
Relatives of two of the victims told two media outlets that the shooter punched one of the victim's wives before leaving the bar and returning with a gun.
