AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Six-foot-tall sisters Maddi and Bobbi Chitsey combined for 37 points and 11 rebounds to lead Wall (34-4) past Hallettsville (34-4) 59-44 in UIL Class 2A state semifinal action.

Junior Bobbi Chitsey led all scorers with 20 points while sophomore sister Maddi added 17 points. Wall outscored Hallettsville 29-18 in the second half.

Alli Dierschke had nine rebounds while Stella Doyle scored 10 points with eight rebounds for Wall. The Hawks defense limited high-scoring Hallettsville to 30 percent shooting from the field. Hallettsville was averaging 69 points per game in playoffs.

Heather Henneke led Hallettsville with 14 points and 10 rebounds before collecting her fifth foul early in the fourth quarter. Cassidy Targac and Kasey Hairell added eight points each for the Brahmas.
