FORT WORTH, Texas (AP) — A North Texas house fire has claimed the lives of a woman and one of her 6-year-old twin daughters and left three other people hurt.
The Fort Worth Fire Department says the blaze was reported shortly before 2 a.m. CST Friday. Authorities are seeking the cause of the fire.
Investigators say a woman and one of her girls died in the blaze. The other twin, a man and a woman survived with injuries not believed to be life-threatening. Further details on their conditions weren't immediately available.
Authorities believe the twins and their mother had been staying at the Fort Worth house with the man and the woman who survived. A house next door also suffered fire damage.
Names of the victims weren't immediately released.
