HOUSTON (AP) — Police say two teenagers are suspects in a string of armed robberies and one sexual assault on a Houston bike trail.

Houston police said Wednesday that Damontres Darnell Mitchell and Jassan Rashaad Hughes have both been charged with single aggravated sexual assault counts and two counts of aggravated robbery.

Investigators say the two 18-year-olds committed seven robberies on a trail on the city's west side between Dec. 14 and Jan. 6. They accuse the pair of sexually assaulting a female jogger during a Jan. 3 robbery.

Mitchell and Hughes were arrested Monday after they were found driving a vehicle reported as stolen in one of the robberies. Court records did not list attorneys for either suspect.
