LUBBOCK, Texas (AP) — West Texas police say they've arrested a 34-year-old man who fell through the ceiling of a home as he was attempting to avoid capture by authorities.
The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports (http://bit.ly/1dtrJwt) Adam Joshua Plyler was armed with a handgun when he went to a home early Monday as part of a dispute with one of the residents. When police responded to a disturbance call at the home, Plyler ran to the attic and cut a hole into the wall for access to an adjacent residence. He then fell through the ceiling, waking the residents of that home.
Plyler was being held Tuesday at the Lubbock County jail. He's facing a variety of charges that include aggravated assault.
Online jail records did not indicate an attorney for him.
