HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police say one male partygoer has been killed and two others wounded in gunfire during an argument outside a home.
Police say nobody has been arrested over the shots fired early Saturday during a party involving about 60 people — mainly teenagers — at a house.
Sgt. Robert Odom says police are trying to locate witnesses. Authorities are trying to determine a motive for the shootings.
Police say someone in a car in a parking area opened fire before the vehicle sped away. Police say one man died at a Houston hospital. Further details weren't immediately available on the other two wounded people, who are expected to recover.
Police did not immediately provide further details on the investigation.
