McKINNEY, Texas (AP) — A Texas man has been convicted in the first of four sexual assault cases in which he allegedly lured women into an apartment he advertised on Craigslist.
Prosecutors say Roger Stulce Jr., of McKinney, faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced. A jury in McKinney on Monday convicted Stulce of sexual assault in the 2012 attack.
Police say Stulce faces charges that he lured and sexually assaulted three other women since 2008 through Craigslist ads for a housekeeper or to sublet.
The Dallas Morning News (http://dallasne.ws/18Om1nF ) reports the first woman testified that Stulce sexually assaulted her over a matter of hours at his apartment.
Defense attorney Mitch Nolte says Stulce and the woman had consensual sex.
