HOUSTON (AP) — Prosecutors say the getaway driver in a 2009 Houston armored car robbery in which a guard was shot has been sentenced to five years in prison.
A federal judge in Houston on Wednesday sentenced 30-year-old Hendrick Dwayne Lynn of Houston.
Prosecutors say Lynn was part of the August 2009 attempted robbery of an ATM and a November 2009 holdup of a Loomis US truck in which a guard was shot but survived. Lynn was convicted of conspiracy to interfere with commerce by robbery and interference with commerce by robbery.
Lynn must also make restitution from the second case in which thieves stole an undetermined amount of cash. Prosecutors didn't immediately release a dollar amount.
Four other men pleaded guilty in the cases. Three received prison and a fourth awaits sentencing.
