MARSHALL, Texas (AP) — An East Texas man has been charged with killing his wife and fleeing with their 4-year-old daughter, who was later found unharmed with him.
Marshall police say Brad Allen Dunn of Marshall was arrested Sunday afternoon near Linden, 30 miles north of Marshall, on a murder charge.
Dunn was being held Monday without bond in the Cass County jail. Detective Sonya Johnson had no information on an attorney for Dunn.
Marshall police Sunday morning responded to a disturbance at a hotel. Investigators say Kari Rene Dunn was dead at the scene. Her husband and their daughter, Kylie, were missing.
Authorities issued an Amber Alert for the girl. Father and daughter were found during a traffic stop after another driver reported seeing the Dunn vehicle.
Autopsy results are pending.
