HOUSTON (AP) — Authorities say one teenager was killed and three others were injured during a gunfight at a far southwest Houston house party.
When Houston police arrived on scene late Friday night, they found one man that had died from gunshot injuries. Witnesses say he may also have been hit by a car fleeing the shooting scene.
The large house party was attended mostly by 17 and 18-year-olds. It was not clear what prompted the shooting in which, according to neighbors, more than 25 shots were fired.
Police found another wounded person about a block from the scene and two more with at a nearby doughnut shop. They were taken to area hospitals and are in stable condition. No arrests were made in connection to the incident.
