HOUSTON (AP) — Houston police have captured a third capital murder suspect and are seeking a fourth in a restaurant holdup that left a customer dead and an employee wounded.
Police on Tuesday announced the arrest of 18-year-old Leroy Houston. A warrant was issued last weekend for 20-year-old Kenya Jackson in the investigation of the Aug. 26 robbery and shootings at a Denny's restaurant.
Records show 20-year-old Corey Hilton and 18-year-old Mario Hilton remain jailed after being booked last weekend. Investigators say the Hiltons and Jackson are suspected of wearing masks, opening fire at the restaurant and robbing customers and the business.
Police didn't immediately say whether Houston, who was nabbed Monday, was the suspected getaway driver.
Customer Robert Placette of Katy was killed. A worker suffered wounds not believed to be life-threatening.
