SANTA FE, N.M. (AP) — The leader of a New Mexico chapter of what authorities call an outlaw motorcycle gang has been arrested.
Santa Fe police announced this week that 29-year-old Lucas Miller was arrested in connection with multiple assaults in El Paso, Texas.
Authorities say Miller is the president of Santa Fe's Chapter of the Bandidos Motorcycle Club.
Miller was charged with one count of aggravated assault and two counts of assault for his involvement in the assault on a 36-year-old man, a 61-year-old man and a woman in her late 50s at an El Paso bar Aug. 18.
The Santa Fe Police Department said Monday that a SWAT team arrested Miller last week. Four others were arrested on the same charges, one in Albuquerque and three in El Paso.
It was not known if Miller had an attorney.
