Robert Placette, 64, of Katy was fatally shot during the robbery in which three masked gunmen entered the restaurant. An employee who was also shot suffered injuries not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
A fourth person allegedly drove the getaway vehicle. Police have not identified that suspect.
