AMARILLO, Texas (AP) — A prosecutor has presented evidence to a Texas grand jury in sex assault cases against eccentric millionaire artist Stanley Marsh 3 (three).
Special prosecutor Matt Powell on Wednesday said a Potter County panel reviewed evidence alleging 11 felony counts. Powell says the grand jury's decision will likely be released Thursday.
The 75-year-old Marsh is accused of molesting a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in 2010. He's been free on bail since turning himself in after an arrest warrant was issued in November alleging six counts of sexual assault and five counts of sexual performance by a child.
If convicted, Marsh faces up to 20 years in prison per count. His attorneys have denied the allegations.
In February, Marsh settled lawsuits from teenagers alleging he paid them for sex acts.
