DALLAS (AP) — Dallas police are looking for a hit-and-run driver who is accused of killing a 44-year-old man after dragging him about 125 feet.
Police say the unidentified man was pushing a shopping cart across a street at 2:14 a.m. Saturday when he was struck by a vehicle.
The man suffered injuries to his head and body and was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness tells police that the driver who hit the man stopped briefly before fleeing the scene.
The suspect's vehicle is described as a yellow or orange or gold pick-up truck.
