GREENWICH TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP) — State troopers inspecting a tractor-trailer in New Jersey arrested a Texas man after finding $800,000 worth of drugs hidden in the truck.
The troopers stopped the vehicle on Interstate 78 in Greenwich Township on Tuesday.
The troopers say they seized 64 pounds of marijuana and 20 kilograms of cocaine hidden in the ceiling and behind the wall of the truck's sleeper berth.
Bail is set at $250,000 for 34-year-old Andres Garcia of San Benito, Texas. He's charged with possession and possession with intent to distribute marijuana and cocaine.
