RICHARDSON, Texas (AP) — Regulators say a North Texas hotel must pay nearly $103,000 in back wages in a record-keeping dispute involving dozens of workers.
The Department of Labor on Wednesday announced the agreement with the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dallas-Richardson. Authorities say the Hilton Hotels Corp. franchise is owned and operated by Taraz Kooh LLC.
Federal officials found violations involving minimum wage, overtime and record-keeping provisions for at least 112 workers. The operator has agreed to provide back pay and maintain accurate wage and hours records in accordance with the Fair Labor Standards Act.
A message left with the hotel for comment was not immediately returned Wednesday.
