Corpus Christi woman pistol-whipped, family robbed in home

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas- A woman was  pistol-whipped before having her home robbed on Saturday afternoon. 

Corpus Christi police are looking into the robbery that happened in the 1800 block of Keys street, near Baldwin and Riggan. 

Police said two men, wearing masks, surprised a woman who was hanging clothes in the backyard before pistol whipping her in the head.

The men then headed inside the home, taking several electronic items. There were three people inside of the home.

The suspects took off after police arrived. Investigators shut down intersections in the neighborhood to find the suspects.

As of Saturday evening, police say they remain on the loose. If arrested, they face a first-degree felony.
