WATCH: Gas explosion in Somerville can be seen for miles

Emergency crews in Burleson County are responding to a gas line rupture near Lake Somerville, according to KBTX in College Station.

UPDATE: 

The Burleson County Sheriff's Office expects CR 132 to reopen by 10:00 a.m.

The fire is completely out at this point and crews are finishing up repairing a power pole that burned.

BURLESON COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - Emergency crews in Burleson County are responding to a gas line rupture near Lake Somerville, according to KBTX in College Station.

Crews responded to the area near 9430 County Road 132 in Somerville.

Caldwell Fire Department says they're still waiting on the owners to come turn the line off. No one has been evacuated at this time.

Residents in the area report seeing an orange glow in the sky from several miles away.
