Texas school employee arrested on suspicion of child sex abuse

SAN ANTONIO -- An instructional assistant at the Holmgreen Center in the Medical Center was arrested Monday by Northside Independent School District Police on a warrant of continuous sex abuse of a child, according to a spokesman with NISD.

Robert Hernandez, 34, was released on $75,000 bond, according to the spokesman.

Hernandez has been with the district about three years and is an instructional assistant in the tech support department.

He was immediately placed on administrative leave without pay.
