Metro Health confirms 13th Zika case in San Antonio

SAN ANTONIO -- The San Antonio Metropolitan Health District has confirmed the 13th case of Zika in San Antonio. 

Metro Health did not release the identity of the person, however, the virus was acquired while traveling abroad.

In a press release, Metro Health reiterated safety measures to prevent mosquitoes including removing standing water from a home, properly protecting stored water,  avoiding the use of perfumes and colognes when working outdoors, as well as protecting exposed skin with DEET or Picaridin products.
