FORT HOOD - Special Agents from the U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command were investigating the robbery and assault of a Soldier's wife at approximately 7:00 p.m. September 11th and approximately 10:30 a.m. September 20th in the Pershing Park housing area.
The suspect is described as a black male, early 30s, dark brown eyes, short wavy hair, approximately 5 feet, 7 inches tall.
He was seen wearing a maintenance-type uniform that included a short-sleeve blue shirt, long dark pants, dark colored work boots and wearing black and yellow work gloves.
In response to the investigation, the Fort Hood Family Housing Facebook page posted a notice about the measures in place for all of their staff members.
1. Fort Hood Family Housing staff will only come to the front door,
2. They will always have a Fort Hood Family Housing ID badge and will present it without hesitation.
3. Residents can call 254-285-2302 to verify our employee’s identity.
The post also included, "At Fort Hood Family Housing the safety of our residents is of utmost importance and continues to be our top priority. Any concerns are taken very seriously and investigated fully."

No additional information was released Tuesday while the investigation continued.
