AUSTIN, Texas -- Rescue crews have recovered the body of a man who never resurfaced at Lake Travis after going cliff diving with two others Sunday afternoon.

On Monday, dive teams resumed their recovery search on Lake Travis and found him in the morning.

The Travis County Sheriff's Office, Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Services, and STAR Flight responded to a report of a person missing from a party barge at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

Deputies said a 21-year-old, along with two other people, went cliff diving near the boat with handheld floating devices.

Two of the three people came back up from the water and returned to the boat. However, authorities said the 21-year-old lost his device and never came back up.
