Beaumont, federal officers seize 40 pounds of synthetic marijuana

BEAUMONT - Southeast Texas law enforcement officials have seized a large amount of synthetic marijuana after raiding a north end home.

The Beaumont Police Department SWAT team, narcotics officers and federal officers executed a federal search warrant at a home in the 5000 block of Concord Road Wednesday evening and seized about 40 pounds of synthetic weed according to Beaumont Police spokesperson Cody Guedry.

The investigation is ongoing.
