Sylvia's Kitchen thanking firefighters who helped save restaurant

Sylvia's Restaurant is saluting the firefighters who helped save the establishment.

HOUSTON - Houston's enchilada queen is giving back to the first responders who helped save her restaurant.

A fire broke out in July at Sylvia's Enchilada Kitchen and the iconic restaurant was closed for three weeks for repairs. The kitchen suffered moderate damage and the fire was determined to have started from the wood burning grill.

Sylvia herself helped serve dinner to over 30 firefighters Monday evening to show her appreciation for their speedy response.
