Houston weather to return to normal -- hot
12:53 AM CDT on Thursday, July 24, 2008
With Dolly exiting our forecast picture slowly, there is not much to discuss when it comes to weather. Even a series of local tornado warnings for counties to the south of Harris County were lifted well before the original 7 a.m. expiration.
As the storm continues to move westward and weaken, our rain chances across southeast Texas will drop beginning Friday.
With less rain and more sun, afternoon readings will resume their run of at or slightly above seasonal averages of the middle 90s.
