Crews continue repairs on Reliant Stadium roof
01:47 PM CST on Friday, January 9, 2009
HOUSTON—Crews are back on top of Reliant Stadium fixing the roof which was damaged during Hurricane Ike.
Reports indicate that several panels were ripped off during the storm.
Workers have already installed new fabric on the panels that were ruined. The stadium’s general manager says workers will install one more panel Friday.
After that task is complete, crews will begin water proofing the building.
Officials say that the goal is to have everything finished by March 3 and in time for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo.
