Man charged in death of woman whose nude body fell from truck

HOUSTON—A man is facing manslaughter charges in the death of a woman whose partially nude body was thrown from a truck.
It happened last week in the 300 block of Rankin Road.
A witness saw Maria Cabrera, 35, fall from the back of a pickup.
Investigators say Numas Campos is the man who left her there.
They believe Campos and Cabrera argued at a nearby motel, and Cabrera hung onto Campos’ pickup as he tried to leave.
Police believe Campos then accelerated and swerved to get her off the truck.
